Abstract

|
Herbarium specimens are being revised forViola diamantiaca Nakai from South Primorye, which was previously identified asViola rossii Hemsley. This new species is from the South Manchuria region of Russia. Its habitat within the Kedrovaya Pad Natural Reserve represents its northern limit of geographical distribution in the Far East. Here, we provide descriptions and the main diagnostic characteristics for bothV. diamantiaca andV. rossii.
